Merry Christmas! — Karter Sylest

Can you believe it - it’s almost Christmas! With only NINE days left until the big day, I can’t believe this year is coming to an end. 2020 has been a very challenging time for everyone. We are still in the middle of a global pandemic, but I want us to find something positive about life right now. Things may be hard, but they could be so much worse. Christmas is my favorite time of the year, and after my dad passed I didn’t think I would ever enjoy Christmas again, life was over, it would never be the same. But as the years have passed, I’ve found that although it isn’t the same, I can still find happiness in the season that he and I both loved so much.

So do something that makes you happy. With Karter, I’ve started our own Christmas traditions, of course matching pajamas, building a gingerbread house, and decorating the Christmas tree. But we also have a cookie decorating contest each year.
